Welcome Maker!
If you’re here, you’re likely a creative looking for a way to join a community of fun like minded individuals who can help support, uplift and cheer you on! We at Makers North Collective believe that we’re stronger together which is why we do our best to build an inclusive community for all makers.
Take a look below at some of the ways you can join the fun!
Krista Kuzyk, Fourth Avenue Designs
“My first Makers North market I felt like such a mess, I had no idea what to expect or how to prepare. Tracy, Julieanne and all the incredible makers were so kind and informative, answering any questions I had to help me execute a successful show.
Through out these events I have fostered lasting friendships and business partnerships with makers I may have never met outside of this community. I am truly honoured to be a part of the Makers North Community.”
Our Community
Makers North Makers - Private Facebook Group
This is the space where our community of makers share, support and lift each other up! At over 780 members, if you have a question there is surely a maker in here who knows the answer and better still, maybe you can be the one to help someone out!
Makers North - Meet the Makers
Makers North ‘Meet the Makers’ is a monthly section on our website that features a collection of makers with a short bio and links to their work. We love to support all makers and look forward to sharing so much incredible talent this year!
Workshops, Maker Meet Ups, Swaps and More!
Since Makers North began it has always been a goal to provide makers with education and opportunities to connect with their peers. As two busy moms who also run businesses, we haven’t always hit that goal but now that the littles aren’t so little, we’re ready to make it happen! We give our makers first access to all workshops so stay tuned in our private makers group for workshop and meet up announcements.
Stay tuned for an iPhone photography workshop featuring one of our fave local photographers and educators, Stacey Lalande.

Makers North respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Robinson-Huron Treaty Territory and the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnaabeg. We are truly grateful that ourselves and our makers are able to create and share our work on this beautiful land. We are proud to provide space for Indigenous makers to represent their work and culture at all of our events. Miigwech.
